iRecycle is…

…a community recycling program originally for Spartanburg County Schools,
but is now implemented throughout Upstate South Carolina.
It’s been made possible through a partnership between
United Resource Recovery Corporation (URRC) and Spartanburg Coca-Cola.
We are about more than just recycling plastic bottles.

Registration is now open!

Don’t miss this year’s iRecycle half marathon and 5K run.
Join us November 22 for the Sixth Annual iRecycle Run – a race for all ages which starts at Spartanburg High School and winds through beautiful downtown Spartanburg and surrounding neighborhoods!

The day kicks off with the Half Marathon beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K run at 8:15 a.m.

Click here to register – and don’t forget to choose a local school to represent in the run. The school with the most representatives will win $1,000!
There will also be cash prizes for top finishers in each race, as well as overall First, Second and Third Place for men and women.

• Register before November 20 and you yourself will be entered to win a $100 gift certificate from Academy Sports + Outdoors.

• The iRecycle Run is just another way to support iRecycle! All proceeds go to fund iRecycle’s scholarships program for area high school students who actively participate in school and community recycling programs.

• Interested in forming a team? If you have 15 people or more, your team will receive a special team t-shirts and a discount on entry fees. Team registrants save either $10 off the half marathon fee or $5 off the 5k fee, and teams may be a mix of half marathon and 5k participants. Please email iRecycle to set up your team.
